Artist Statement: The ☆ TEXTURA - this is the title of my project - is accompanied by a ring with a star. The whole story began with a memorial plate in 2015: I grew up in the same apartment house with Gábor Attalai, who was one of my intellectual mentors and we visited with Attalai's daughter the same university named MOME. In memory of his land art piece from 50 years ago titled Negative Star, - he showed the negative shape of a star from the snow on 29 stairs at the riverside - then I placed a Positive Star 50 years later on the stairs of the Danube bank from stones. The action is accompanied by the design piece of the ring, which I made from silver in a jewelry designer's workshop. Since then I wear it day by day.
Artist Bio: Helga Eszter Rajt is an accomplished contemporary jewelry artist, based in Budapest. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, in Europe.
